Larsonfest was founded after a dear friend went on to the great gig in the sky. Donald Larson supported all facets of music and art. He was beloved by many and this festival quickly took shape. Upon announcement of the first Larsonfest, the outpouring of support was overwhelming to say the least. So many friends, musicians and artists wanted to show their love and support of this great man. The first event took place October 5th-7th, 2018 at Sticks Place with over 40 bands (multiple genres) performing across all 3 days. Food trucks, vendors, music lovers all had a reason to be there. We raised over $10,000 for a local charity known as CASA of Red River by the end of the event. Casawf.org for more information on why we help this great cause. Don was a huge supporter of CASA and we are too! We were so surprised by the turnout, love and generosity of everyone, that again, completely floored us in the best way possible. We expect 2019 to be even bigger
